International professional exchange program
Last winter I made an application to an exchange program for teachers. My employee is member of ICIPS - ICISP 2018-2019 International Professional Exchange Program I was pretty sure that I won´t be accepted to exchange because of my professional backround. In application was a sentence that you will be accepted if there´s application from USA in the same professional backround... I thougt that there´s no agricultural teacher interested in coming to Finland. I was wrong, somebody wanted to come to visit Finland... She works as a associate professor in a chemistry department in a college - not agriculture but close enough ;). I´m so excited to go to states, last time I was there in 1987 when I was a young student in high school. My host is living in Batavia, Illinois. I will live two weeks with her and her family. I´m hoping to visit a american dairy farm and getting to know something about agricultural studies in America but if it´s not possible I´m satisfied to know something
